# Does ‘Share’ publish on social media?

The **Share button **starts rendering and downloading your video to your device.

It does not publish the video to your social media accounts 🙅🏻.

Use it to get your video and **share it wherever you want!**

Take this opportunity to retrieve your SRT file or generate a post for social media.
