# Create a login method for my Capte account : email + password

If a Capte account was created with Google Connect, there is no default password associated with it.

To create a password that will allow you to log in without Google Connect, please follow the steps below carefully:

1) Log out of your session by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner and then ‘Log out’;

2) Click on ‘Register’;

3) Create a new account with exactly the same email address and a password of your choice;

4) A screen will appear asking you to link this account to your Google account: click on ‘Continue’.

5) Select the Google account you wish to link;

6) You will now be able to log in using the **email address** and password you have just created.
